Dholrhythms Celebrates years with "BhangraFest 2008".

Dholrhythms is approaching its five year anniversary in October and is excited to celebrate with a community that has allowed it to flourish, with its first annual festival, “BhangraFest”.

The festival consists of a series of presentations including free classes, workshops and performances, along with events as the Non Stop Bhangra Collective throughout the San Francisco Bay Area Community. These events will take place at various locations, collaborating with various organizations, most of which are free to the public.

Dholrhythms has been fortunate enough to share its passion on some amazing stages over the years, including Stern Grove Music Festival last summer and Power To The Peaceful Festival in Golden Gate Park this summer. In an effort to continue spreading the energy of Bhangra that is being seeked out by the masses, Dholrhythms’ five year anniversary is the perfect vehicle for delivering the spirit of Bhangra.
